미드로 스터디를 하는 중에 나온 문구인데 간단해 보이는 것과 달리 여지껏 보지 못했던 문구라 좀 더 알아봤습니다.

(영) used when you have had a new thought that is different from, or the opposite of what you have just said
(한) 그런데 말이지
(영) but after thinking about it
(한) 하긴
"그런데 말이지" 이나 "하긴" 과 같은 말은 대화할 때는 많이 사용될 것 같은 문구인데 영어로 말하려고 하면 딱히 생각나지 않는 문구인 것 같습니다.
대화할 때 상대방이 말한 의견에 반하는 생각을 제시할 때나, 어떤 사건이 발생하는 이유에 대해 반박할 수 없는 생각을 제시할 때도 사용할 수 있을 것 같습니다.
각각의 단어들이 너무 간단하니 바로 예문으로 들어가서 어떻게 사용되는 지 살펴보겠습니다.
I like to travel but ,then again, I'm very fond of my home.
It would be fun to see them, then again, I don't really have the time.
He seems like a nice guy. But then again, people say that he lies a lot.
A: You have to admit London is a pretty expensive place.
B: Sure, but then again, most places are if you don't know where to go for a bargain.

간단하긴 하지만 대화할 때 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 문구인 것 같습니다.
